“ Loved it. The Seafood Platter is an outstanding deal at 27. 3 catfish filets, 2 huge fried shrimp, grilled shrimp skewer, 2 stuffed crab, and 1 frig leg. All with 2 sides. Those fried shrimp are really the size of my palm. Chicken fried steak is not only plate sized but is tender and delicious. Perfect crust on that steak, too. Held together after being cut and dipped in the very good peppery gravy. We had the German Chocolate cake too, excellent! Definitely coming back. ”

The food is just as good as ever. Ms. Florida makes the best chicken fried steak in the area. If youre near Livingston, you gotta try it. ”

We should have known about this place since my family and I love checking out familyowned businesses in the Lake Livingston area. Once you step into the restaurant, it gives off a dinner, homemadestyle vibe. The staff greets you immediately with a smile and seats you at an available and open table. You can order your drink immediately while you look over their menu to pick your food. It was my first time here, but my parents have been to this place like 23 times already, and they already know what they want to eat for lunch, while I, on the other hand, am open to trying new food and sharing food, so I did just that. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Lake Livingston area and are looking for a great spot for BBQ! You will not be disappointed, so give this place a try! ”

“ Really good but the pictures dont do it justice cuz first we went pretty late on very cold night so not many people out, and then it smelled and tasted so good that we ate half before remembering to take picture. Sorry about that! But we had fried mushrooms for appetizer, 3 meat bbq and salad. Oh my! Now my only complaint is they only have banana pudding on Saturdays, which is very sad on Friday. ”
